Timothy M. Lawler is the artist and curator behind Canary East. A self-taught designer and painter based in Rochester, New York, Timothy blends fine art, storytelling, and craftsmanship across his work. From expressive paintings and character driven illustrations, to handcrafted greeting cards and curated jewelry collections.
Each of his pieces carries a sense of warmth and whimsy, reflecting his belief that art should make people feel connected and seen. His greeting cards, in particular, celebrate small moments of beauty, humor, and emotion, thoughtfully designed to be both keepsakes and expressions of care.
Through Canary East, Timothy shares his own creations alongside the work of other artists he admires, building a space where creativity, community, and craftsmanship meet.
